Buying a tool kit for a woman in Uganda or Mozambique helps her to take the first steps in becoming self-sufficient.
These women will receive training in how to start a perma-garden, and then ongoing support to make sure they grow good quality food to eat and sell. As
part of this starter kit, each woman will receive, a watering can, a rake, a hoe, and a spade, plus a
starter packet of seeds. There will be access to larger communal tools when needed.
